Message In A Bottle
The first commercial Doctor Tarantism release is set to be released on October 31st on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music! The song is a cover of The Police's classic song "Message In A Bottle".
This song actually has quite a long history, as I originally created it as a bootleg remix in 2010, featuring Sting's original vocals.
In its first incarnation, this song was released for free streaming platforms including Soundcloud and YouTube, under my given name "Thoko". The YouTube version of the song (Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7J2rZlQUZ8) went on to accumulate almost 50,000 plays. And the Soundcloud version was noticed by Kissy Sellout who broadcast the song on his show, on BBC Radio 1 in the United Kingdom.
Since then, I have greatly improved my skills in sound engineering and mastering engineering. So, I've been busy lately, reworking many of my best compositions to prepare to release them as a series of concept albums. I have so many existing unfinished songs that I decided to release two concept albums simultaneously in December of 2025. The titles of the albums will be "The Temptress" and "Queen of Hearts" respectively.
